Really happy with that as it is my first full week back to normal, just one more pound to lose till I am back to what I was before my holiday and then all guns blazing! To celebrate I treated myself to half a kebab :-)

A Fresh Start, welcome to my blog

Welcome to my blog, for those who dont know me I am Kate, a 29 year old living in Dundee.

I have decided to start this blog for two reasons, 1) to motivate myself and 2) to hopefully help others that are in the same situation, dealing with the dreaded weight loss!

I have been overweight for as long as I can remember and have finally decided to do something about it. I have joined my local Slimming World class and have so far managed to lose 12lbs but have a very long way to go. To keep me motivated I am going to blog everyday to show my highs and lows and progress and what I am eating to achieve this. The Slimming World plan is fantastic, it definitely does not feel like a diet more an eating plan for life and I am so far really enjoying it.

I hope that someone enjoys reading this if not sorry for boring you but if anything it will keep me on the straight and narrow.
